YOU WILL NEED

Wooden pegs

Embroidery thread (or wool)

A selection of ribbons

Coloured tissue paper

Paint or fin tip pens

METHOD

First, paint or draw the faces onto the wooden pegs, and leave to dry.

Then glue the hair onto the top of the peg (a hot glue gun works well). If you wish you can style the hair into plaits, pigtails or add a pretty petal hat.

With 5x10cm squares of tissue paper stacked on top of each other - cut a flower shape. Poke a hole in the centre with scissors, and gently push up the peg and hold it fast with some glue.

Finish off with a ribbon bodice!
